Photography with a Purpose

David Thompson began his photography career as a US Army Combat Photojournalist in 1987. Living in Hawaii he served and traveled the world for over 6+ years before coming back to Texas to make Rockwall his home. Lake Pointe Photography has been in business since 1993 and worked with many great clients over the past 25+ years.

After building a great life in Buffalo Creek with his wife Wendy, David has chosen to use his talent towards promoting his true purpose of Veterans Helping Veterans. Over 20% of proceeds from Lake Pointe Photography are donated to the Veterans Outpost! The Veterans Outpost (a 501c3 Non Profit) provides traditional and non-traditional therapies for service members and their families. Our focus is on empowerment and helping individuals find a sense of purpose after service. As well as building a Veterans Village for temporarily displaced Vets.
